Himmat Card Punjab 2026: Quarterly Support for Persons with Disabilities

For many families, a disability means more than a medical bill. It can mean a lost wage, a missing assistive device and years of waiting. The Himmat Card is the Punjab government’s attempt to put a regular, dignified payment in the hands of persons with disabilities who cannot earn a living.

Here is how it works, who benefits and what has changed in 2026.

Quick Overview

  • A Bank of Punjab ATM card issued through the Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Department.
  • Quarterly stipend of Rs10,500 to eligible persons with disabilities.
  • 30 per cent of cards are reserved for women.
  • More than 100,000 persons had received support by April 2026, with a stated target of 200,000 in the current fiscal year.
  • Helpline: 1312.
